Video 01 Starting with the essentials in video 1 you will learn about Kompozer, an open source (FREE) software which is one of the best free web design tools available.
Video 02 In video 2 you will learn where and how to get this software, PLUS check for all the latest upgrades and install them after downloading.
Video 03 In video 3 you will learn the Kompozer interface and some of the most popular tools in this program. You will also learn how to create and publish a web page quickly and easily.
Video 04 In Video 4 we look at all the settings you need to speed up your use of the program.
Video 05 In video 5 you will learn about website layout - how to create multi-column layouts and other individual designs.
Video 06 In Video 6 we will teach you all about website tables and how to use them.
Video 07 In Video 7 you will learn how to add hyperlinks, video, images, as well as how to change text color, fonts and size.
Video 08 In Video 8 you will get an introduction to CSS (cascading style sheets) which is basically allowing you to control the look and feel of your website from ONE single file. For example you can change a setting in the stylesheet and change all the Headings to a different colour, or change the width of every page without having to edit every single page.
Video 09 In video 9 you will continue learning about CSS and working with style sheets.
Video 10 Video 10 is the final video on CSS. Stylesheets are used by most web designers these days so it is important you konw how to use it properly.
Video 11 In video 11 you will learn where to download loads of free templates to work with.
Video 12 Finally in video 12, you will learn how to use the built in tools of the Kompozer HTML editor to publish your new web page/site by FTP. This means you don't need to download any additional software to upload your files.
